Operating Entities

Our platform and transaction operations are managed jointly by BSW General Trading LLC (registered in Dubai, UAE) and TangoPlus General Trading LLC (registered in Dubai, UAE), collectively referred to herein as 'Tango Buyback', 'we', 'us', or 'our'.

By accessing our platform, initiating a device trade-in valuation, or booking a doorstep courier pickup, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, legally resident in the UAE, and possess full legal capacity to enter into binding commercial contracts.

Transfer of Ownership & Payout

Ownership of the device transfers irrevocably to Tango Buyback immediately upon your acceptance of the final physical appraisal and receipt of payout.

Payout is disbursed on the spot via cash in hand or instant UAE electronic bank transfer following completion of our physical bench diagnostic.

Once a Sell Now transaction is concluded and payment is disbursed, the sale is final. The device undergoes immediate cryptographic data sanitization adhering to NIST 800-88 guidelines and cannot be reclaimed.

Buyback Periods & Vault Storage

You may select an exclusive buyback duration of 7, 14, 28, or 42 calendar days at the time of order creation. The exact repurchase price is pre-agreed and locked upfront.

During the active buyback window, your device is deposited in our high-security, climate-controlled, anti-static facility.

Zero-Access Guarantee: Devices deposited under buyback terms are securely sealed. They are never powered on, browsed, rented, displayed, or accessed by our technicians during the preservation window.

You may repurchase and reclaim your device at any point prior to the expiration timestamp by completing the agreed buyback repurchase price at our walk-in hub or via doorstep delivery.

If the buyback window expires without repurchase or authorized extension, ownership irrevocably transfers to Tango Buyback, and the device will be released for certified wiping and secondary market resale.

Mandatory Requirements

Every seller must present an original, valid Emirates ID card or passport with a valid UAE residency/tourist visa at the time of physical handover.

You warrant that you are the sole and lawful legal owner of the device, holding clear title free from any liens, debts, financial encumbrances, or company restrictions.

You must permanently delink and deactivate all cloud activation locks, remote management profiles, and passwords (including Apple iCloud 'Find My', Google FRP, Samsung Knox, and Windows BitLocker) prior to handover.

Devices that are reported lost, stolen, counterfeit, blacklisted by telecommunication carriers, or subject to insurance claims are strictly prohibited and will be confiscated and reported.

Recordkeeping Standards

For every concluded transaction, an official digital invoice or physical receipt is generated detailing seller identification, device brand, model, storage, serial number, and unique IMEI.

High-resolution photographic documentation of the device and verification of the seller's Emirates ID are captured and securely archived in encrypted databases solely for statutory regulatory compliance.

Bench Diagnostic Verification

Preliminary online quotations are estimates based on the condition attributes declared during the search wizard. Final binding valuation is determined upon physical bench testing by our certified technicians.

If the physical inspection reveals undeclared cosmetic blemishes, battery degradation, aftermarket screen replacement, or internal defects, an adjusted valuation quote will be formulated.

Zero Obligation: You hold the absolute right to decline any adjusted valuation quote. There are zero appraisal fees, zero inspection charges, and zero cancellation penalties.

Customer Obligations

Tango Buyback assumes no responsibility for SIM cards, microSD memory cards, protective cases, screen protectors, or personal data left inside or attached to the device.

All SIM cards and external storage cards discovered during bench diagnostics are securely destroyed and cannot be recovered.

We are not liable for market price declines that occur after an order is concluded or for third-party courier delays caused by incorrect customer address inputs.

Effective Date & Publication

Updated terms become effective immediately upon publication on this page. The 'Last Revised' timestamp at the top of this document indicates the effective date of the current version.

Continued use of our platform or booking of services following the publication of revised terms constitutes your binding acceptance of the amendments.

Police & Carrier Databases

Every submitted device is checked against international GSMA blacklist registries, local telecommunications operator databases, and Dubai Police CID stolen property reports.

If a device is flagged as stolen or fraudulent, the transaction will be terminated immediately. The device will be impounded, and seller details will be transmitted to Dubai Police authorities.

Comprehensive Checkpoint List

Our certified diagnostic technicians verify the following 13 functional parameters during in-person inspection at our hubs or during doorstep collection:

• 1. Power & Calls: Must turn on, charge normally, and make/receive voice calls.
• 2. Physical Buttons: Power, volume, mute, and action buttons fully operational.
• 3. Touch & Display: Responsive across entire screen; zero dead pixels or bleed.
• 4. Backlight: Uniform illumination with no dim spots or screen flickering.
• 5. Cameras & Flash: Front/rear lenses focus cleanly and shoot clear video.
• 6. Liquid Indicators: LCI must not be triggered; zero moisture or corrosion.
• 7. Housing & Hinges: Frame and hinges structurally sound with no bends.
• 8. Complete Parts: All internal components and chassis screws intact.
• 9. Operating System: Genuine, uncorrupted official OS; no rooting or jailbreaks.
• 10. Biometrics: Face ID, Touch ID, or fingerprint sensors configure properly.
• 11. Wireless Radios: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and NFC connect reliably.
• 12. Audio System: Earpiece, speakers, and microphone produce clear sound.
• 13. Account Delinking: Complete removal of iCloud, Google FRP, and MDM locks.

5 Standardized Grading Tiers

Devices are classified into five precise cosmetic grades: Like New (pristine with original box), Excellent (minimal gentle use), Good (normal light wear), Average (heavy cosmetic marks), and Poor (cracked glass or hardware defect).

Upon agreeing to the verified appraisal grade, payment is disbursed promptly via cash in hand or instant UAE bank transfer. An official electronic payment confirmation is provided immediately.

Zero-Cost Return Guarantee

If our physical bench diagnostic uncovers hardware discrepancies resulting in a revised offer that does not meet your expectations, you may decline immediately.

For doorstep collections, our courier will safely return your device to your address completely free of charge. For walk-in hub appointments, your device is handed back to you on the spot with zero fees.

Certified Erasure Standards

Sellers are advised to complete a full local or cloud backup of all photos, contacts, WhatsApp messages, and documents prior to device handover.

All devices acquired under 'Sell Now' terms undergo irreversible multi-pass cryptographic data erasure adhering to NIST Special Publication 800-88 Revision 1 guidelines.

Devices under 'Sell with Buyback' terms remain in protected vault storage and are never accessed, powered on, or browsed during the preservation period.

Legal Protection

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BSW General Trading LLC, TangoPlus General Trading LLC, their directors, employees, and logistics partners from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, or legal costs arising from a breach of your ownership warranties or the submission of encumbered, stolen, or counterfeit goods.

Grounds for Cancellation

We may terminate any transaction immediately if we detect identity fraud, forged Emirates ID documentation, altered serial/IMEI numbers, or collusion with criminal enterprises.

In the event of suspected unlawful activity, all submitted hardware and transaction logs will be provided to UAE law enforcement authorities.

Taxation Under Profit Margin Scheme

Tango Buyback complies with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations. Standard 5% Value Added Tax (VAT) is calculated and applied where applicable under the special profit margin scheme for second-hand pre-owned electronic goods.

All customer quotes display net payout figures with zero hidden deductions or administrative processing fees.

Qualifying Occurrences

Force Majeure events include natural disasters, extreme weather disruptions, regional telecommunication or power grid failures, governmental border restrictions, war, or civil emergencies.

In the event of a Force Majeure occurrence affecting active buyback items, deadlines will be extended equitably for the duration of the disruption.

Exclusive Dispute Resolution

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, including validity, interpretation, or termination, shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Emirate of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Both parties agree to make good-faith efforts to resolve disputes amicably through our customer support management prior to initiating formal litigation.
